Project Manager, Mr. Avila is a Project Manager on the Hunden team. He acts as a trusted main point of contact on a variety of study types at the firm and leads clients through their tailored study processes. He leads the team of analysts to gather and interpret market data from kickoff research and meetings to delivery of findings and recommendations.
His career at Hunden has led to a specific focus on multi-use sports and recreation facilities, downtown mixed-use developments, arenas and entertainment venues. He has recently led analytical work for studies in Genesee County and Lansing, Michigan; Papillion, Nebraska; Aurora, CO; Ankeny, Iowa; Kingsville and Temple, Texas; Chicago and Schaumburg, Illinois; Greenville, North Carolina; and Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.
Matthew is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington where he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate. During his four years, he was a member of the Commercial Real Estate Workshop and studied for a semester in Milan, Italy at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He and his group of fellow real estate students were awarded first place in the twelfth annual Stanley E. Hunt Real Estate Development Case Competition for their proposed development of the Trades District, a mixed-use development consisting of office, multi-family, and retail for the City of Bloomington.
