Analyst

Charlie Johnson is a member of the Hunden consulting team. He works on development analysis and financial feasibility studies for mixed-use districts, arenas, youth sports complexes, hotels, convention centers, and tourism placemaking action plans. He conducts comprehensive market and submarket research, financial feasibility modeling, economic and demographic analysis, competitive profiling, and stakeholder interviews to develop actionable recommendations for clients.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Charlie graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Finance and a Certificate in Business. During his time at UW–Madison, he was actively involved in the Real Estate Club and the Real Estate Private Equity Club. He also spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain, where he took courses at Universitat de Barcelona and The Institute for the International Education of Students.

Prior to joining Hunden Partners as an analyst, Charlie interned with the firm in 2024 and interned at Pine Tree, a retail real estate investment and development firm, where he supported asset management initiatives, conducted market research, and analyzed retail property performance across multiple markets.
