Hunden Partners, on behalf of the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID), issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify and select a highly qualified, experienced venue management firm to operate, manage, and market the new EMCID Convention Center in New Caney, Texas. The EMCID Convention Center is an approximately 210,000-square-foot building currently under construction within Valley Ranch Town Center. The venue will include a 55,000-square-foot divisible ballroom/exhibit hall, 20,000 square feet of meeting and breakout space, approximately 40,000 square feet of lobby and pre-function space, and a few small outdoor event terraces and spaces. Construction of the center began in January 2025, with completion and opening anticipated in late 2026. Separately, a selection process for a hotel developer for a site adjacent to the convention center is underway. Anyone who wishes to receive updates must register directly through this form.
