Business Development Coordinator

As a Business Development Coordinator, Emily plays a key role in the firm’s business development efforts. She is responsible for developing materials for conferences and strategic growth initiatives, as well as supporting the RFP process, from crafting feasibility study proposals to participating in client interviews and presentations. Her work spans a wide range of projects, including city and county tourism master plans, community sports facilities, hotels, arts and entertainment venues, and convention centers.

Emily began her career at Hunden as a member of the analyst team, where she conducted in-depth market and submarket research, economic and demographic analysis, competitive benchmarking, and stakeholder interviews. She contributed to studies on mixed-use and innovation districts, tourism master plans, and hospitality projects across the U.S., with a primary focus in the South and Midwest.

Emily is from Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated with a BS in Business Management from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology. While at Virginia Tech, she competed on the women’s track and field team and dedicated over 20 hours per week to training and competition. She also served as an executive member of both the Virginia Tech Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Athletics Leadership Institute, advocating for student-athlete engagement and development.

Before joining Hunden Partners, Emily founded and successfully operated Erie Gear, a lifestyle brand she launched in 2016. The company continues to operate today.
