With Hunden’s guidance, College Station continues its forward momentum to building an impactful convention center.
Recently, the College Station City Council approved Hunden Partners to advance to Phase II of our work on a proposed convention center after hearing preliminary findings at a city council meeting.
Phase I of Hunden’s analysis determined there is demand in College Station for a convention center. Matthew Avila, project manager, presented the Phase I findings to City Council, demonstrating demand for a versatile venue that would ensure year-round activity that generates overnight stays and economic impact.
Phase II of our work for the proposed convention center will include site evaluations, financial considerations, and detailed assessments of market demand, financial projections, and economic impact.
