Augusta’s plans to replace James Brown Arena with a state-of-the-art facility with the same name are “full steam ahead,” said one of the project’s biggest champions… Hunden Strategic Partners and Perkins & Will Architects presented plans for an arena able to seat more than 10,000, with a lower-bowl capacity of 6,500, 1,050 premium seats, 12 suites, and several loge boxes.
